Swimming, in terms of participation, is growing. According to a recent survey by the Sports Council entitled 'Young People in Sport', swimming is the number one participation sport for school children.

The Club raises the money it needs through a variety of mechanisms. Swimmer's fees pay primarily for coaching and teaching staff, pool hire, travel and team gala events and new equipment Every penny we raise goes back into the Club fro the benefit of learners and swimmers. As with any Club, the money is always the limiting factor and so we are always grateful to Companies who either provide sponsorship or very generously give a donation.
